Five days after being stored in the refrigerator, Leftover Daniels came to life and decided to turn his life around by moving out of the upper food shelf and getting a job in the city.
“I was tired of waiting for something to happen, either being eaten or just thrown out all together! I finally realized that if I wanted things to change, I would need to take a risk, say goodbye to the comfortable fridge life and update my resume.”
Tim Harold, hiring manager at Coffee Time at Bloor and Landsdown, describes Leftover Daniels as one of his best employees so far. “It was a perfect fit from the very beginning. Lefty, as we like to call him, has proven his worth. He gets here on time, is covered in rotten pieces of meat and smells pretty terrible. That’s more than I can say about the rest of my employees.”
