4. George Herman “Babe” Ruth
Nicknamed Babe for being a rookie player of the Baltimore Orioles, George Herman Ruth was initially signed to the team due to his extraordinary pitching abilities. However, after being sold to the Boston Red Sox and eventually playing for the New York Yankees, Babe famous for his record-breaking home-runs. Before Babe died in his sleep at the age of 53, he was overheard asking a nurse if she could, “… pass [him] some water please.” She also heard utterances such as “room temp is fine” and “Perfect, that’s enough for now.” Wow, out of the mouths of babes indeed.
